Kaya Mo Yan.

I would never stop saying "Kaya mo yan." to every child.

I had seen its effect and it's soooo amazing? wonderful? a tearjerker? I really can't find the exact words to describe the feeling it brings me every time I try to look back.

"Cher, di ko kayang mag-drawing!"
"Cher, di ko kayang sagutan."
"Cher, di ko kayang gawin."

To which I'll say:

"Sinubukan mo na ba?"
"Binasa mo bang maigi?"
"Nakinig ka ba, kanina?"

To which they'll reply:

"Hindi pa po."
"Hindi pa po."
"...................."

To which I'll say:

"Subukan mo muna, kaya mo yan."
"Basahin mo muna, kaya mo yan."
"Lakihan ang tenga, isara ang bibig, kaya mo yan."

Then, they will.

      Awww... Gusto ko din naman maging mom, pero di pa yata ko ready. Dami ko pang gustong gawin at puntahan. Kawawa naman si bebe kapag busy si mamakatkat masyado. Haha...

    It should always be our mantra as well, kaya ko ito, will try to do it, go lang nang go. But always remember not all children will do so, there will still be some who will lose hope in trying and this is where you are needed most. To be a mom? Kaya mo yan!

      Oo nga po eh. Hay.. Before anything else, kelangan kayanin ni teacher bago maipasa kay pupil. Go lang nang go. Ang its simply amazing! As my mentorship is about to start, my heart is quite confused if Im ready to let go of this profession. Anyway, I still have 7 months to go before I can finally do what I choose to do later on.

      Meron talagang mga batang una pa lang, hindi talaga gagawa, what I wanted to build is a culture of accountability, and trust that they have each other's back. Mahirap pero, sana magawa namin. Sana matuto silang magtiwala sa sarili nila at ibang tao.

    Nakakatuwa naman. Malaki talaga ang naitutulong ng encouragement sa mga bata.

    Imagine if lahat ng teachers eh may ganitong teaching style. It will surely make a great impact on student's learning. :)

      i think lahat ng teacher ganito. Kasi ang essence naman talaga ng teacher is to bring out the best in their students. They just need a little push. Tsaka nakakapagod sermon nang sermon, so ito na lang.. Positive pa. Hehehe :P

    Minsan para matigil sa pagrereklamo at katamaran ang ilang mga estudyante, ganyan din ang sinasabi ko - "Kaya mo yan, magtiwala ka sa sarili mo."

    ... o kaya - "Oh, lahat tayo may utak, kaya lahat mag-iisip at gagawa!" Lols.

    Inuunahan ko na minsan ang mga katamaran ng students, kasi nakakapagod din mambola este manghikayat pala hehehe :)

The skies had been dark like a storm is coming. It had been raining the whole night long and when I woke up that day, I had fears that Sir Jonathan can’t come to school anymore due to the heavy downpour. Malapit na malapit na! Magpapaalam na ko sa pagkabampira. Ang pinakaunang kong career ay nagsimula sa BPO hanggang sa napadpad na ko sa mga “captive sites” companies, at hindi ko ipagkakaila ang malaking pasasalamat ko sa   pagkakataong naibigay sakin sa loob nang mahigit anim na taon. Marami akong natutunan, maraming nais kalimutan at syempre mas marami yung nais kong manatili lalo na yung pagkakaibigan at mga aral sa buhay na nabuo habang ako'y nasa trabaho at nakikisalamuha. Dahil ako ay magbabagong-buhay, nag-isip ako ng mga bagay na talaga namang mamimiss ko pag umalis ako sa pagka nocturnal being. 1. Airconditioned Office - Ang init ngayon!
